We design, build and operate enterprise-grade broadcast, cloud and IP media systems — SMPTE 2110 cores, NDI production, SRT edge and teleport transport, playout, newsroom, OTT and IPTV — engineered by people who have run them at 3am.
What we do
Products, integration and managed services that plug together — or stand alone — covering everything between a camera at a remote venue and a player in someone's hand.
One control plane for encoding, packaging and the entire asset lifecycle — FFmpeg power without FFmpeg command lines.
High-density IP stream processing for headends and digital distribution — transcode, monitor, record and republish hundreds of streams from one box.
A unified media asset management platform that turns raw storage into a searchable, policy-driven archive — from rich metadata and low-res proxies to scheduled lifecycle and agentic cloud tiers.
Launch a channel in weeks, not quarters. Fully managed cloud playout for broadcasters, OTT and IPTV — no plant to build, no shift roster to staff.
Complete broadcast infrastructure, end to end — specified, installed, commissioned, documented and handed over without a single dark minute.
End-to-end studio design and build from the first schematic to the final line check — engineered spaces for cameras, sound, power, control and comfort.
IP-native plants that stay on air: ST 2110 in the core, NDI across production and graphics, SRT for edge contribution and transport — with SDI coexisting for as long as you need it.
Move live feeds between venues, teleports and remote sites over ordinary internet — SRT and RIST with encryption, ARQ recovery and bonded paths instead of a satellite booking.
Streaming platforms for every screen — low-latency live, VOD catalogues and the apps sitting in front of them.
A modern newsroom, from story to air — planning, rundowns and multi-platform publishing in one place.
Orchestrate ingest, QC, distribution and archive so your operators supervise media instead of babysitting it.
Turn manual, tribal-knowledge workflows into autonomous AI-driven operations — humans supervising outcomes instead of executing steps.
Custom software and integrations that connect media systems to the business workflows around them.
Native and cross-platform apps for every screen audiences actually use — from phones and tablets to connected TV and set-top boxes.
Find the gaps in your plant before someone else does — security assessment built for broadcast and media networks, not generic IT.

Hybrid architecture
Every layer of a plant has a transport that actually suits it. We combine 12G-SDI, SMPTE ST 2110, NDI and SRT so the core stays deterministic, production stays flexible and remote feeds still land on time — without betting the whole facility on one technology.
Baseband layer
Deterministic baseband where timing is non-negotiable. A cable either works or it doesn't — and for critical production paths, that certainty is still worth paying for.
Broadcast core
Uncompressed, PTP-locked IP routing through the core, carrying video, audio and ancillary data as separate essence flows — so you route what you need, not whole signals.
Production layer
Software-defined production over standard LAN: graphics, playback, switchers, PTZ and edit suites connect as endpoints instead of cabled devices — add a source by launching an application.
Edge & transport
Encrypted, ARQ-protected transport for edge feeds — venues, stringers, teleports and remote production sites hand off over ordinary internet with satellite-grade reliability and a fraction of the cost.
How we engage
Every project runs through the same four stages, so you always know what is happening, what it costs and who owns it.
We audit the plant, the workflows and the things nobody has documented, then agree what success looks like technically and commercially.
1–2 weeks
Block diagrams, IP addressing, bandwidth and redundancy modelling, BOM and a staged migration plan you can put in front of a budget holder.
2–4 weeks
Build, configure, factory-test and commission on site — running in parallel with the old path so cutover never costs you air time.
Project-scoped
Runbooks your operators can follow, monitored alerting, a named escalation path and agreed response targets when something breaks at 3am.
Ongoing 24/7
About
Margalla Systems builds media infrastructure and custom software for broadcasters, OTT operators and enterprises — the people who cannot afford for a signal to stop.
Founder & CTO
Munir founded Margalla Systems to bring deep broadcast engineering discipline to every stage of a media project — from the first schematic to the final handover. With years spent inside master control rooms, satellite teleports, OB trucks and cloud playout pipelines, he leads a team that designs systems engineers actually want to run at 3am, with runbooks already written and instrumentation already in place.
Why we started
Too many media projects are split between a design house, an integrator and a software vendor — with gaps between them where outages live. Margalla Systems was built to close those gaps: one team carries a project from studio civil works and 2110 core commissioning through playout automation, MAM, archive policy, apps and cloud delivery.
Core capabilities
Deliver media and software systems that make our clients faster on air, cheaper to run and harder to knock off it.
Open, IP-native and cloud-first infrastructure within reach of every operator — not only the ones with a nine-figure capex budget.
Who we build for
How we think
Every build starts with signal flow, timing and failure modes on paper — schematics, rack elevations, power and cable schedules — so nothing is discovered on installation day.
SMPTE ST 2110, ST 2059, SRT, NDI, MPEG-DASH and HLS. If a vendor disappears tomorrow, your facility keeps running and stays replaceable part by part.
SNMP, telemetry and alerting are part of the design, not a phase-two wish. You see PTP lock, packet loss and channel health before your viewers do.
As-built documentation, runbooks, escalation paths and operator training — so your team owns the system rather than depending on us to keep it alive.
